Puppy Session!

It's not every day I get to snuggle 4 lb puppies! I think I was cheesing this entire session! Meet precious Gentry! I was surprised at how similar this session was to a human newborn session! We put on the magic Baby Shusher (which every new parent needs and you can get HERE!), turned on the portable heater, and wrapped him tight :) Amazing! He went right to sleep and looked so peaceful.

Fun Fact! Gentry's mommy is my hair girl! Courtney has been doing my hair for years now, so it was fun having her "sit in my chair" this time and see how I work! I loved the props Courtney picked out to use for her session, and they fit Mr. Gentry so well. The great thing about puppy sessions is that they don't need breaks to nurse, so we got it done fairly quick! Just a few quick potty breaks! He was such a gem and pretty much let me do anything. I was in love! He didn't even pee or poo on anything! Such a perfect pup. It was also great in post-processing because there were no skin things to edit! Just minor adjustments, and these photos were good to go.

Some of my most favorite photos we captured were the close up shots of his adorable face. I love his big eyes and cute ears, and my favorite lens captured every piece of fur and every detail so clearly. These images will look amazing as large prints on the wall! The photos of Gentry and his big sister were some of my favorites as well! It was so cute to see them interact with each other and Birdie was so good with him. Maybe a little jealous - just like a toddler with their new baby sibling! Overall, she was so patient with him, and we got some great shots of them together! I'm also a beach fan, so the final photos we took of his beach vibe outfit were so fun! Love the colors, and it added a little variety to his gallery. I could have kept him in the studio all day!

Thank you, Courtney, for sharing sweet Gentry with me for a couple of hours, and I can't WAIT to see these images hung on the walls of your salon and home!
