I’m so excited to share this Maymont Park maternity and family session with you today! When the Landrum Family reached out about maternity photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them for the second time! There’s something so magical about maternity sessions. Knowing there is a sweet baby on the way and being able to capture this stage in a family's life is just so special.
Maymont Park Maternity Session
This session was extra special for me because I have the great pleasure of working with Jasmine every day at the Richmond VA Medical Center! She is a dear friend of mine, and she has the most precious family. Jasmine and her husband Ryan are welcoming another BOY to their family! It was fun revisiting Maymont park with this family because I photographed big brother Camdyn's photos about EIGHT years ago when he was a baby! We had beautiful weather, and while it was quite crowded in the Italian Gardens, we were able to work around the visitors and capture some great moments.
While I absolutely love photographing toddlers and babies, I must say that it was quite refreshing having a big kid who listens to direction! :) It was such an easy session, and Camdyn (and Ryan) were such troopers. At one point during the session, I noticed that some of the flowers in the gardens matched Jasmine's dress perfectly! So I naturally stuck them near those orange flowers and clicked away. They made for some of my favorite photos of the session!
To the Landrum Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and I can not WAIT to meet that sweet little baby boy so soon!
